TopStrangerBot — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the Telegram bot @TopStrangerBot (the "Bot"), operated by TopStranger ("we", "us", "our").
By using the Bot, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Bot.
1. Eligibility
1.1 Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Bot. By proceeding past the welcome message, you declare that you meet this requirement. We do not verify users' age; if we become aware that a user is under 18, we will ban the account.
1.2 Account. The Bot operates through your Telegram account, and you are responsible for keeping it secure. You may not use the Bot through another person's account or by means of bots, scripts or other automated tools.
2. Description of the Service
2.1 The Bot connects users with strangers for anonymous chats, based on their profiles and matching preferences. We do not guarantee that a match will be found, or that any match will meet your expectations.
2.2 Your chat partner never sees your name, username or Telegram ID. They can only see the profile fields you have completed, your country and region, and the approximate distance between you.
2.3 You are responsible for the level of anonymity you maintain. We strongly advise against sharing your real name, phone number, address, other social media accounts or photos of your face.
3. Code of Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited. Each violation is subject to the sanction indicated, without prejudice to Section 4.4.

The Bot is not an adult content service. All users are expected to behave respectfully.
4. Moderation and Enforcement
4.1 Tools. We enforce these Terms through a combination of automated filters, an automated system that analyses certain chats to detect commercial activity and fraud (see Section 6 of the Privacy Policy), user reports submitted via /report, and review by our staff.
4.2 Automated decisions. Where the automated system detects a violation of rule 4 or 5 with high confidence, the user may be banned automatically. In all other cases, the decision is taken by a member of our staff.
4.3 Media review. Media sent outside the 18+ categories may be reviewed by our staff.
4.4 Measures. Depending on the seriousness of the violation, we may end chats, restrict matching, mark an account as 18+, or suspend or permanently ban an account. We may apply these measures without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the service. When a measure is applied, you will be informed of the rule breached, whether the decision was automated, and how to request a review.
4.5 Appeals. If you believe a decision concerning you, including an automated ban, was made in error, you may request a review by contacting @TSBReportBot. Your request will be reviewed by a member of our staff.
5. User Content
5.1 You are solely responsible for the content you send through the Bot, and you retain all rights to it.
5.2 By sending content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, limited to what is necessary to deliver it to your chat partner, to moderate it and to otherwise process it as described in the Privacy Policy.
5.3 Media is protected against forwarding and saving to the extent permitted by Telegram, but screenshots cannot be prevented. Self-destructing media and /revoke operate within the technical limits of Telegram. Do not send any content you would not want to be disclosed.
6. Safety
- Never send money to people you meet through the Bot.
- Exercise caution before meeting anyone in person. If you do, choose a public place and inform someone you trust.
- Other users may misrepresent themselves. We do not verify users' identity.
- If a user makes you uncomfortable, use /next, /block or /report.
Nothing communicated through the Bot constitutes professional advice. For legal, medical, financial or psychological matters, consult a qualified professional.
7. VIP Status, Sponsored Content and Official Channel
7.1 VIP. VIP status is free of charge and is obtained by inviting other users. We may modify or discontinue the VIP programme at any time.
7.2 Sponsored content. The Bot may display sponsored messages and announcements. We are not responsible for products, services or content offered by third parties through external links.
7.3 Official channel. Access to certain features may require joining our official Telegram channel.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 The Bot is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available indefinitely.
8.2 We are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users, whether on or off the Bot.
8.3 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Bot, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to you as a consumer under mandatory law.
8.4 You are liable for any damages we suffer, including claims brought by third parties, as a direct result of your culpable breach of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The name, texts, code and all other elements of the Bot are the property of TopStranger and may not be reproduced or used without our prior written consent.
10. Termination
10.1 You may stop using the Bot at any time by blocking it. To request deletion of your data, refer to Section 9 of the Privacy Policy.
10.2 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Bot if you breach these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms, for example to reflect changes to the service or to the law. Material changes will be announced through the Bot or our official channel at least 15 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Bot after that date, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the Bot and request deletion of your data.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer residing in another EU Member State, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
